Meet your instructor

Fais — bilingual, patient, experienced.

"Fantastic instructor — patient, clear and bilingual." That's a real review, and it sums up what students love about Fais. He teaches in English every day and has guided many international students, expats and Amsterdam locals through their CBR exam.

You can also request a female instructor (Chiquita, who also speaks English).

FAQ

Good to know.

Do I need to speak Dutch?
No — Fais teaches in fluent English. The CBR theory exam is available in English. The practical exam is conducted in Dutch but the examiner gives clear, simple instructions — we'll walk you through every phrase you might hear.
Can I use my foreign licence in the Netherlands?
It depends on where your licence is from. Some non-EU licences can be exchanged; others mean you have to start from scratch. We can talk you through it before you commit to a package.
How much does it cost?
A single lesson is €65 (manual) or €70 (automatic). Packages start from €1,030 (10 lessons, manual). The full package list is on our rates page.
How many lessons will I need?
It varies hugely. Some students need 20, others 40. After your trial lesson we'll give you a realistic estimate — and we won't push you into a bigger package than you need.
